As part of its continuous efforts to empower students with practical competencies, the Department of Medical Devices organized a series of hands-on lectures for first-year students inside the welding workshop, under the supervision of Dr. Engineer Ali Fadhil and Engineer Saja Alaa.
The training sessions included a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals and various techniques of welding, followed by intensive practical training on the use of specialized equipment and tools. Particular emphasis was placed on occupational safety standards to ensure a safe working environment throughout the training.
This initiative reflects the department’s vision of bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, thereby preparing a generation of engineers equipped with the competence needed to compete in the engineering job market.
